Connect your own domain name

Show your pages and smartlinks on your own address, like myname.com. More professional, more memorable, and your page content does not change.

Before you start

You need a domain name bought from a registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, OVH…). Don't have one? Buy it through Allinks, we handle everything. Custom domains are included from the Premium plan.

Connect your domain

1. Settings, then Custom domains, and I already own a domain.
2. Enter your domain, and say whether a website already uses it. If so, Allinks uses a subdomain (like links.myname.com): your website stays as it is.
3. Allinks shows the DNS record to add: an A record for a domain, or a CNAME for a subdomain.
4. Add it in your registrar's DNS settings, then come back to Allinks.

How long it takes

A DNS change usually takes a few minutes, sometimes up to 24 hours. Allinks checks automatically and tells you when the domain is active.
